data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Students\u2019 Union of Ocean University of Sri Lanka is, the representation of the students who were selected by the decision of all the students of the university for keep the awareness of the university administration, relative ministries and all other responsible parties regarding the ideas and suggestions of the students about the academic issues impacting for the students and about the actions for their well being in the university.<\/p><p>Final year students representing all degree courses in the University is selected for the main positions of Students\u2019 Union. Office bearers represent the entire students at the university, and they are selected through an election. Any third-year student of faculty of Engineering &amp; Management can participate to the election by giving their nominations.<\/p><p>The main events conducted by Faculty Union club was founded in 2014 by the students at the Department of Maritime Transportation Management and Logistics. The intention of establishing the club was to enrich students\u2019 life at the campus for better synergy and academic excellence. The Logistics club is the second-largest club at the Ocean University of Sri Lanka. As the second-largest club, all the students who learn Maritime Transportation Management and Logistics automatically qualify for clubs\u2019 membership. Every year, the third-year students of the department are elected to top positions of the club. Logistics Club always helps students to go beyond and be the Logisticians that the industry needs.<\/p><p>The club organizes events annually. The events conduct to cover both academic and entertainment perspectives to rather balance the students\u2019 minds and give a new learning experience at the campus. The events organize both virtually and physically. As its intention to help students succeed in academic activities is also a great facilitator for many CSR projects and initiatives.
